We at the Big Blue Collective take great pride in the consistently fabulous feedback we get from our clients. It’s such a heart-swelling moment to see Big Blue Collective reviews that speak of happy memories and fantastic experiences. It’s even nicer when we find out we’re doing such a good job, we crop up in the most unexpected places on the net! With a huge recent accolade from Tripadvisor under our belts, too, we’re riding high on the positive vibes you, our beloved clients, have helped make- so we are sharing a little of it with you today.
Winner of the Travellers Choice Awards 2020
While 2020 has been a rollercoaster of a year for us all, it’s still had its positive side- and for the Big Blue Collective, one of those positives is undoubtedly winning one of Tripadvisor’s coveted Travellers Choice Awards. This amazing awards program celebrates the restaurants, hotels, service providers and other travel industry giants among the 8.7 million businesses listed on their site who go above-and-beyond for their clients. Winners are calculated based on both the quality and quantity of reviews collected through the renowned travel platform, and have to be consistently delivering only the very best service to even be considered. We’re so proud that your Big Blue Collective reviews have helped us stay at the top 10% of businesses on Tripadvisor, and are super proud that the feedback of people like you is so good we were given this honour!
Celebrating the Turks and Caicos reopening
Thanks to the easing of local travel restrictions, we’re also super stoked to announce that the TCI is open for businesses! After a successful program to limit the spread of COVID-19, the Islands were cleared to reopen to tourists from the end of July 2020. We’re already seeing our first visitors making their way here to enjoy some sun, sea and fun after a stressful year for us all.
As part of this exciting occasion, Forbes.com dedicated an entire article to the excitement awaiting you in the Turks and Caicos, and why it’s earned its reputation as one of the best all-round holiday destinations out there. As you already know, the Big Blue Collective is known worldwide as some of the best experts on kiteboarding there is, so we weren’t all that surprised to see our very own Duncan Sander’s make his into the list.
We were also delighted to get a fantastic mention from US News & World Report, who enjoyed a trip to the biologically diverse Little Water Cay!
Award-winning private villa partnerships
We’re always glad to be able to help our guests not only experience the very best activities the TCI has to offer with us, but also help them to enjoy every aspect of their stay on the islands. That’s why we’ve partnered with some of the most beautiful (and exclusive) villa rentals on the islands, so we can help you find the very best nest to call your home. We were super stoked to see ourselves mentioned by swimsuit.si as part of their coverage of one of our gorgeous villa partners!
Happy visitors and happy stories
We enjoy meeting each and every one of our guests who come to enjoy the islands, but it’s always especially nice to meet travellers ‘in the biz’. It’s even nicer when we see our hard work pay off as mentions of what they found most fun and enjoyable about their stay on the Islands. Angie of the Lovely Escapist isn’t the only travel blogger we’ve had pass through our doors this year, but we were super excited by her blog shout-out and thought we’d return the favour! We’re so glad you enjoyed the trip!
Taking a walk on the wild side
It’s no surprise that we also take our responsibilities as ethical tourism providers very seriously. It’s important to us that this beautiful environment around us isn’t just enjoyed in the present, but also preserved in its pristine state for generations to come. We’ve recently teamed up with Ecoworks Marine, another company that shares those values and is working hard to promote a cleaner, healthier sea that’s safe from environmental degradation. It was great meeting up with the Ecoworks team on the island, and we’re glad to see they had fun too.
It’s not all about the fun stuff, though. We’re also proud that our very own Mark Parrish was able to meaningfully contribute to important research efforts regarding the huge biodiversity in the Turks and Caicos, and were stoked to see the Smithsonian take note of the paper he has co-authored with some of the most respected names in the business.
Learn to Kiteboard in the TCI
Our mission at the Big Blue Collective is to #escapetheordinary, and kiteboarding remains one of our most passionate loves. From our ongoing partnership with the annual Kalama Kamps to our exciting downwinder kite safari’s, we’re pleased to be able to bring you the very best of this exciting sport. We’re pretty proud it’s been noticed by The KiteMag, and hope many other intrepid kiteboarders will enjoy the gorgeous vistas of the Turks and Caicos from the back of their boards!
Big Blue Collective Reviews to admire
At the end of the day, however, it’s not about the limelight for us, but about the happy customers globally we hear from every day. From the many, many happy Big Blue Collective reviews we see on Tripadvisor, to our web presence at other renowned sites like Trip.com, inspirock, and even Instagram and Facebook, it’s a delight to see how many lives we’ve touched over our decades of experience on the islands. It’s the many people who’ve trusted us to make their dream holidays something they’ll never forget that give us the pride and confidence to keep doing what we do- and for that we thank you!
The Big Blue Collective are proud to see so many positive Big Blue Collective reviews, mentions and photos throughout the internet- and we hope to bring you many, many more great memories in the years ahead, too.
