Looking for an adventure water sports retreat? Then look no further than Kalama Kamp 2020. Our certified Paddle Fit instructors, along with the Kalama Kamp experts, will teach you to tame the waves in style.

Expect 6 days of fun, action, and adventure. With small groups to ensure maximum learning and instructor attention, you’ll have the benefit of access to the world’s top waterman. The Kalama Kamp experts live for the intricate nuances of the sport, earning them widespread respect as top sportspeople. You’ll even have a chance to train daily with Dave Kalama. The cares of the ‘real world’ will soon be a thing of the past, as you’re free to explore, relax, experiment and have fun in this exquisite island destination. Are the Kalama Kamps open for beginners?

Absolutely! From folks whose skills have got a little rusty right through to the absolute beginner, there’s a place for you in Kalama Kamp 2020. The Kamps are a mixed group, and everyone from elite SUP athletes to raw beginners will be around. Within a few days, you’ll have full confidence in your new sport. 

Surfing experience is also not necessary. The instructors will walk you through the basics, and all the safety training you could wish for. The intent of Kalama Kamp is to hone skills, meet fellow enthusiasts and make friends, so don’t let shyness hold you back. Dave Kalama believes there’s nothing more important than pushing your own limits, paying no care to those of others. What’s included in the Kalama Kamp 2020 pricing?

Kalama Kamp offers a truly special experience, and your sign-on fee is packed with extras too. You’ll receive:

  • Full support from our experienced boat crews. We’re free to travel through the whole chain, using our native knowledge to deliver the very best experience.
  • Accommodation (and pool taxes) in a luxury villa
  • An in-house chef offering their services for all meals, if you’re not keen to head out for a culinary adventure among the locals.
  • Transfer fees (airport and land)
  • Equipment, including SUP boards, paddles, leashes, and even hydration packs. You are also free to bring your own if you would prefer.
