The best outside classroom is back!
Our 2023 Summer Kids Kamp will kick off this July running for two consecutive weeks from July 3rd – July 7th and July 10th – 14th for kids between the ages of 10-15.
There will be scuba courses, scuba dives, snorkel, paddle, boat adventures, kiteboarding experiences and of course marine education. Fun, fun and more fun.

SUMMER 2023 COASTAL EXPLORER KAMP
WATERSPORTS & WILDLIFE The purpose of the Big Blue Collective Summer Kid’s Kamps are for the kids to get out on the water and have plenty of fun. We want them to experience the best of the islands and wildlife whilst also learning or enhancing their water sports skills. Naturally, the kids will be encouraged to learn about and respect the environment they are exploring. There will be a focus on coral reefs with additional ‘light’ educational themes, noted below. This will vary each week and cater to the appropriate age groups. The last day of each week will end with a MEGA adventure to one of the outer islands such as West Caicos, French Cay or Middle Caicos.

PRE-REQUISITES Students need to be comfortable in and around the water and be a competent swimmer (for their age). Prior kayaking, paddle-boarding, snorkelling and kite boarding experience is not required.

Kids Kamp Scuba
PADI OPEN WATER DIVE COURSE – OVER TWO WEEKENDS
TIME: 4-days, approx. 8.30am to 2.30pm
DATES: 24th/25th June & 1st/2nd July
MINIMUM AGE: 12 years old

COURSE STRUCTURE: Students will be provided the PADI book to complete the theory section of the course. The first and second days of the course will be confined theory and dive training in a swimming pool. The third and fourth days will be for the four open water dives and students should be certified divers by the end of the fourth day. The weekends are structured to try to avoid fatigue, but a good breakfast and restful nights are strongly encouraged as diving can be very tiring especially for new divers.
PRE-REQUISITES: Read PADI Open Water manual | Competent swimmer (will be able to swim continuously for 200m and tread water for 10 minutes) | Receive medical clearance from Associated Medical Practice [medical questionnaire will be provided]
PADI ADVANCE WATER DIVE COURSE
TIME: 2-full days and/or Night dive or 1 tank dive
DATES: 3rd, 8th & 9th June
MINIMUM AGE: 12 years old
