TCI’s Premier Kayak and Paddleboard Experience
We introduced kayaking and the kayak ecotour to the Turks & Caicos 25 years ago followed by paddleboarding to access the shallow mangrove channels opposite our Leeward base on Providenciales realizing right away that this was the transport of choice; shallow draft, quiet, pollution free and good exercise. The stealth of the paddle allows us to view wildlife and reach areas that are just not accessible by boat or land.
We have been exploring areas across the entire archipelago, studying paddle routes and eco-systems ever since. The scope of our kayak and paddleboard programs, the knowledge of our guides, translates into unprecedented opportunities and experiences for our guests to see fish, birds, turtles, juvenile sharks, mangroves, seagrass beds, conch and much much more…
The Paddleboard Eco Tour – Daily – 2hrs
(min age 12)
Our daily paddleboard ecotour is the standing version of our highly acclaimed kayak ecotour. This wonderful 2 hour trip focuses on the mangrove habitat and ecology, so vital to these islands. Paddleboard guides and instructors teach our guests all the basics of this very simple activity before heading out across the channel and into the mangroves, less than 5 minutes away. Guaranteed small groups of 6-7 will find themselves surrounded by nature and immersed in the beauty of life within the mangroves. An absolute must do while visiting these islands.

Experience the difference
We are the definitive kayak experts of the Turks and Caicos Islands and from our base in Leeward, Providenciales, we offer our award winning guided Kayak and Paddleboard Ecotours (daily)and adventures, self-guided trips and rentals.
Small Groups
We aim to max our groups to 8 per trip or 8:1 guest to guide ratio. Very often that means sharing kayaks to minimize the footprint and help split the effort.
Our ramp is the gateway to Mangrove, Donna, Water Cay and beyond.
Accessing the Playground
Big Blue Collective HQ is in the middle of the Leeward Channel on Providenciales and adjacent to the sheltered waters and beautiful beaches of the Princess Alexandra Nature Reserve and National Park. Guided kayak eco-tours and self-guided trips depart straight from the convenient boat ramp at this property. Using boats and trailers; Big Blue will also transport its kayaks almost anywhere across the archipelago.
Visitors can utilize Big Blue’s expertise to explore off the beaten path into the wilderness of the remote cays, mangroves and tidal creeks. Both small group and private adventures are available and often combined with snorkeling and beach combing to maximize the experience.
We guide and lead extended kayak adventures to North, Middle, East and South Caicos. Our kayak and snorkel adventure across Chalk Sound National Park and into Silly Creek on Providenciales should not be missed.
Environmental Etiquette
Vast, little known areas of the Turks and Caicos are wetland habitats or remote cays and beaches that are only accessible by a shallow draft vessel. Kayaking offers an opportunity to explore these inspiring wilderness regions rich in bird and marine life.
Big Blue advocates minimal impact to the environment and our tour briefings will keep you informed on how to do this. Above all we paddle with care, keep noise to a minimum and do not remove anything from the National Parks. We also insist on the use of biodegradable sun cream to protect the quality of the water.
Our Guides are First Class Professionals
Knowledge, patience and understanding are key components of our instructor / guide team. We are constantly training and learning to be the best we can be both as educators in marine ecology as well as Kayak guides.
